Wheel Thrown Pottery Vessel
Speckled clay vessel can be a small vase or holder of things. The process to make this involved throwing the shape on the wheel and then brushing sodium silicate onto the wet clay and pushing out to form the cracks, which are only on the surface of the outside. The inside is glazed in medium blue and I applied a glossy black to the rim. This piece is truly one of a kind.
Size: 4 inches tall x 4.5 inches wide
